Here you will
find a history of the development of laws and the legal system
in America. In addition to numerous articles and essays, there
are links designed to enable you to conduct your own legal research.
At this site,
there are articles and links that deal with religion in general, but more
to the point of our mission at The Law & Liberty Foundation, the information
here traces our American system of law and government to its Biblical origins.
The Law & Liberty Foundation is
interested in promoting sound Public Policy through education and, to that end, our
mission necessarily focuses intently on new technology. We are concerned about the
willingness of some officials to embrace "Junk Science" in order to force cultural or
social changes. Also, as technology makes it easier to "catch" criminals, it raises
constitutional questions concerning the delicate balance of social order and individual
liberty.
We are an entity dedicated to informing
people. The goal is to make America better by promoting a healthy public policy. We
believe, as did our founding fathers, that an informed people will make the right choices.
Not always, perhaps, but it is hoped more often than not. We examine current educational
policies and issues, analyze proposals and pending legislation, and equip citizens with
the tools they need to maintain effective control of their own local school boards. We are
interested in the methods that work best in educating our children and are most impressed
with the methods that produce quality results. If that leads us towards vouchers, private
or home schools, other non-traditional approaches, then so be it. Sound public policy will
never impose a "one size fits all" solution if quality education is at issue.
Here is a collection of some of the most
well-known quotes of the founders on principles of self-government. Also, we have
included some more recent (and perhaps less well-known) quotes. There are quotes by
some current national leaders that are compared with the quotations from some of the
world's most notorious leaders. The similarities may surprise you!
We frequently have readers
respond to our articles. This often results in on-going dialogue with one of our staff.
We have presented here some of the more interesting and illuminating of those
E-mail "conversations."
What's happening on Capital Hill. Pending
legislation, political strategies, national political news, hot topics and local news items
provided by our readers. What can you do to be more involved in the political process.

Why another organization? What
makes us different. Our mission and our objectives. Meet our Staff of dedicated men and women
who volunteer to make this organization work for you.
We offer publications, audio tapes, and
reference materials on subjects relating to law and government. We are working to produce a
series of videotaped lessons on American Colonial History and Civics for high school students.
We also provide legal research for Attorneys doing case work on religious liberties issues and to
students doing research on issues related to law and government. We are part of an extensive network
of professionals in the fields of law, education, economics, insurance, and government and security.
