The main focus of this page is on the growing conflict between the use of technology as a government/law enforcement tool and the need to balance that with Constitutionally guaranteed liberties. There has always been philosophical tension between the need for ORDER and the promises of LIBERTY. The Public Policy arena is ripe for discussion on the dynamic tension beween these two competing interests.
