The Law and Liberty Foundation is a not-for-profit educational foundation whose purpose it is to educate the American public in matters concerning government, law, politics, and public policy. The people are the only legitimate source of political power and they may delegate to certain others a limited authority to act in their own behalf. Only when the people are fully informed may they be fully empowered.
The Constitution of the United States is the supreme law of land and all laws and treaties which are binding upon the citizens of the United States must be in conformity with the principles of the U.S. Constitution. Any law or treaty not in conformity with those principles is not valid law and therefore not binding upon the people.
Interpretation of the Constitution should be in accordance with the original intent of the Founding Fathers as best it can be determined through historical documents and application of the cannons of interpretation.
The Law and Liberty Foundation seeks to promote increased knowledge of history, law, and government by using the print media, the broadcast media, public and private schools, and seminars. The Foundation will distribute copies of the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. Constitution, and other historical documents, along with commentaries and instructional materials on the application of the principles found therein.
